Welcome! We’re encouraged that you want to discover how to improve as father. This assessment will highlight your strengths and potential areas for growth. This assessment was developed by the National Fathering Center and based on the study results of 1515 fathers.

Instructions:

Based on the questions or statements below rank how you feel your parenting as a father reflects in the statements. Choose the relevant answer (1 to 5 points) in front of each definition, 1 is low and 5 is high. If your children are no longer residing with you, you can provide answers by remembering the times they were at home. If children are still too small, think ahead about how you would be based on existing experiences.
